Andy Murray Creates History!

Ahhh so after 4 hours and 54 minutes of Exhaustive Tennis, Andy Murray lifts his first Grand Slam trophy beating Novak Djokovic in 5 sets, 7-6(10) 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2. This is the first time since 1936 that a British has won the coveted Grand Slam title. That was one such great final when it became difficult to choose who will get over the line. Momentum swung back and forth between these two but at the end its Andy who has the last laugh. Condition were not easy too, it was very windy when they come out on the court, Novak slipped many times and even hurt himself on his knees. Well done Andy Murray. Congratulations to Andy, Jury, Ivan Lendl and his whole team.I can only say that the night was worth it!

What a year this has been for Tennis fans. All top ranked players have won one GS each. Roger(1) winning Wimbledon beating Andy Murray, Djoko(2) winning Australian Open beating Nadal, Nadal(3) winning French Open beating Djokovic and finally Murray(4) winning US open beating Novak. In this, Only Federer is the one who isnt beaten by anyone in the Final.

Hope Andy gets more titles because he deserves!
